Authentic Hunan dishes prepared fresh by master chefs. Diners should be prepared for an exciting culinary adventure to the heart of the Hunan province. Renowned for complex and subtle spice combinations, this food adventure was surprisingly educational. Bao’s Kitchen has an impressive list of traditional, regional dishes, brought to life by a talented chef, under new management from an entrepreneur from the province. My wife and kids loved the spicy jelly noodles, the spicy pepper and duck egg appetizer, Chairman Mao’s pork belly, and the sautéed spicy pig ears. Give yourself a treat and enjoy the fresh sweet dumplings and donut breads.
I really appreciated how authentic the food was! I’m not usually a fan of spicy dishes, so I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the sautéed spicy pig ears — they were delicious. Everything we tried was full of flavor, and the service was great too. We’ll definitely be back soon!
